An Sibin Riding Centre,  Mountshannon, Ireland

The An Sibin Riding Centre is in the rural west of Ireland, a few miles from the little village of Mountshannon.  Guests stay in the 300 year old An Sibin hunting lodge.

Sally and Claddagh

Sally claims that Claddagh was standing slightly uphill, but she still looks enormous!

Preparing for an early morning ride
The group rode in the surrounding hills and meadows, down country lanes and along rivers and lakes in the mornings.  Their hosts took them on guided tours to castles, monasteries and local landmarks in the afternoons.

How many shades of green do you see?
While the group saw the sights in the afternoons their horses relaxed in lush pastures that New Mexican horses only dream about.

Bring on the Guinness.

Where else can you stop for a rest by the side of the road and watch a modern day gypsy wagon pulled by a Gypsy Vanner horse pass by?
